I am living in Detroit, working on an MFA in Theatre Management, attempting to publish a book on integral spiritual philosophy and painting. I have a bonita esposa named Catherin Sedano Zelada and she is an amazing woman. Presently, I reside on the Wayne State University campus in the De Roy building. I am in my second year of the MFA program and I am currently the Box Office Manager for our three theatres.

After watching the movie Hotel Rwanda, again, I was in terrible awe of the human capability to become lost in separation, embrace ignorance, and utilize violence as a means of attaining a false sense of self respect. Again, the culmination of countless people turning away from their true Nature and acting against their own interest (since the beginning of time) has resulted in a proliferation of suffering. There are far reaching consequences when people implement brutality in order to bolster their individual ego. When human beings employ cruelty, in all its forms, violence throughout the world will only increase.

When I began painting Collective Course, I was in my senior year at Fredonia State University. I began by painting a bridge that was also a dragon. The dragon-bridge symbolizes the path to finding one's self. Inside the head of the dragon (upper left part of the canvas), I am present holding my palette, love is emitting from my chest, and the spirit has activated all my meridians.

Amigos is an umbrella that covers two important organizations; The Amigos Spanish School and The Amigos Foundation.

Unlike other schools, our aim is not just to teach you Spanish. We're also here to provide a future for disadvantaged children and young people in Cusco; Children and young people who otherwise would only have access to limited education and career opportunities.

Amigos is about symbiosis: that is, two distinct groups of people helping and growing from each other. You learn Spanish, and as a result, children and young people learn English.

While working as a Spanish teacher in Cuzco, Jesús Napancca often saw many children working on the streets. He was sad to see that life was just the same for these children as it was for him as a child. He realized that a lack of skills, especially in English, was severely limiting these children's opportunities. In 1998, Jesús befriended two children (Sergio & John) and began to teach them English for free. Seeing how helpful these classes were to Sergio and John, Jesús began to make plans to create a school through a foundation to help more children. This foundation would be financed through the proceeds of a Spanish School, which would provide Spanish classes to foreigners.
